Now that December is once again upon us, amongst the many things that will happen, is the Arizona Mission of Mercy Event. For the past 6 years approximately 1600 volunteers have combined their skills and expertise to provide free dentistry over two days (twelve hours each day) for people who could not otherwise afford it. The event will be on December 7th and 8th from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Coliseum on the Arizona Fairgrounds. I am proud to have been deeply involved with this event since it was in the planning stages, as far back as 2009. In the 6 main events and a few smaller events throughout the years, we have been able to provide several million dollars in free dentistry. We have been blessed with an array of generous donors as well as volunteers from all walks of life who so generously donate their time and talents.
