Dear Patients,
It has certainly been an eventful year for this practice; involving more than a couple of near-death experiences for me. I want to extend a heartfelt and sincere thank you for all of your prayers and thoughts to promote my recovery. I am eternally grateful for your efforts. My situation was very grave and was related to me that way by my physicians. I do firmly believe that my patients’ thoughts and prayers allowed me to survive. I have sustained substantial deficits and have been working to resolve them to the extent that I can, and although my appearance is one of a pretty healthy individual, I have not attained the level of stamina necessary to run a thriving dental office. It is with deep regret that I have decided to transition into retirement in order to concentrate my efforts on rehabilitation.
After interviewing and scrutinizing several prospective replacements, I have arrived at a solution that I believe will serve your needs well. She name is Dr. Har Kaur Bhangoo, but you can call her Dr. B. She was born and raised in Ottawa, then went to the University of Minnesota Dental School where she received the Quintessence Periodontal Award upon graduation in 2016. She is excited to be allowed to assist with your dental needs. She is a very personable and capable young lady and is the mother of two year old twins; a boy, Kabir, and a girl, Kirin. Her husband is a primary care physician who practices in the area of Del Webb Hospital. They have lived here since 2018 and Dr. B delivered the twins in 2020. As you can imagine, that was an interesting if not frightening time to be pregnant. She is an avid hockey fan and when not enjoying the outdoors and travel, she devotes some time to arts and crafts. This particular interest will dovetail especially well with her chosen profession.
I will still be around off and on for the next couple of months to finish some treatment that was begun before I found Dr. B. As we enter the holiday season, the coming new year is just around the corner. We are hoping the new year will bring fewer challenges and more joy to all of the families that we are privileged to serve. Thank you for all of the loyalty and love you have showered us with. We will be ever mindful of how valuable your trust and loyalty are. I would request that you show Dr. B the love, loyalty, and friendship that you have blessed me with over the years and forge a great new relationship of care. May the holiday season bring love and joy to each and every one of you.
Sincerely,
Dr. Martin Margetis
